DAAD Scholarships for Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS) in Germany
EPOS by DAAD offers fully funded master's and Ph.D. scholarships in Germany for professionals from developing countries.
Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS), a program of the DAAD, the German Academic Exchange Service, offers fully funded scholarships for international students from developing countries to pursue master’s or doctoral degrees in Germany.
EPOS seeks to help specialists with at least two years of professional experience from developing and newly industrialized countries gain qualifications and become future decision-makers and partners for Germany. The program supports study in approximately 40-degree courses in areas of expertise important for development and for solving global problems. Graduates are expected to be involved in international networks, working on solutions to national, regional, and global challenges.
Successful applicants will be exempt from tuition fees and will receive monthly stipends of 934 euros for master’s degree students or 1,200 euros for doctoral candidates to cover living expenses.
Citizens of all Arab countries except the wealthy Gulf states—Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates—are eligible to apply.
